Let's Be Friends

Who Are the Friends of the Library?

Friends of the Library are passionate about library services and help to advocate, fundraise, and support the West Lincoln Public Library.

Our group participates in community outreach, attends community events, organizes fundraising events to support and promote library services that are not attainable through library funds, and advocates for a strong public library system in West Lincoln.

 

Membership

Join and support Friends of the West Lincoln Public Library with an annual membership. We are currently accepting new members for all Executive and Supportive role positions.

Benefits:

• Meet new friends
• Attend and volunteer at community events
• Support and participate in fundraising activities
• Advocate for a strong library system in the Township of West Lincoln
• Priority e-mailing and discounts for events sponsored by the Friends

Annual membership fee is $10.00 for the first year.

Mission Statement

To support the West Lincoln Public Library through advocacy, volunteer and program support, community engagement and fundraising.

Achievement Over the Years

The Friends have contributed over the years to the library through volunteer support and monetary gifts, supporting children’s programs, early readers, collection development, program and services and equipment/furniture additions to each of our library branches.
