3.7 Community Needs Policy

Purpose

The West Lincoln Public Library Board strives to provide the best possible library service to the community by keeping in touch with the changing needs and make-up of the population of West Lincoln.

The West Lincoln Public Library Board wishes to reduce the frequency of unfound materials and thereby improve patrons’ satisfaction and success in locating needed material.

Process

The West Lincoln Public Library Board will assess community needs at least once every four years, or as thought necessary. Community needs policies shall be formulated by using information attained in various ways including, but not limited to, surveys, suggestion boxes, community forums and/or questionnaires.
