November 13-19 is Trans Awareness Week! Raise awareness on November 15 @ 2:30 p.m. using a plethora of buttons! Use our button maker to create your own awareness pin and make a rainbow button silhouette to show your pride. Drop-in.

3-D Printer Escape Room December 19 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The evil Dr. Maker has 3-D printed a jail all around the library! Work together to solve the clues and find the key to the padlock… or be trapped in the library forever! Recommended for ages 8+. Registration required.

Final Countdown! December 30 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. It's the final countdown to 2023! Join us for a paper plate clock craft to help you countdown in style. Followed by a reflective writing activity. Drop-in.

Internet Safety: Online Holiday Shopping Wednesday November 2 @ 10:30 a.m. Learn some safety tips to help avoid the common pitfalls of online shopping, especially during the busy holiday season. Drop-in.

Seed Savers Club Thursday November 10 @ 6:30 p.m. Windowsill Gardens. Members will discuss growing micro grains and herbs to use in your everyday cooking. Thursday December 8 @ 6:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to bring preserved vegetation from their gardens to create holiday centrepieces and décor.

The focus will be on holiday themed tea and chocolate pairings. A Zoom link will be provided for you to join at home or you are welcome to come join us at the Smithville branch.
