NEW HOURS! We are excited to offer new hours at our Caistorville and Wellandport Branches to serve you better.
Caistorville: Tuesdays & Wednesdays—5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Fridays & Saturdays—10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wellandport: Tuesdays & Thursdays—5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesdays & Saturdays—10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Smithville hours remain the same. See page 4 for more info.

Libby replaces OverDrive. Libby is now the primary app for library card holders to access our incredible digital collection. Need help making the switch? Call us today!

PARK PASSES Visit any West Lincoln Library Branch to borrow Ontario Parks and Niagara Conservation Authority Park passes and start planning your outdoor adventures! Passes are holdable but not renewable with a loan period of one week.

MOBILE HOTSPOTS Are available to borrow from any WLPL Branch. Got spotty wifi at home? Going camping this weekend? Mobile hotspots will connect you to the internet any time and anywhere. Hotspots are holdable but not renewable with a loan period of one week. There is a $10/day fee for overdue hotspots.

Good Food Box Returns to West Lincoln!

box of produceThe Good Food Box is aimed at improving the health of communities by providing fresh and affordable products. Purchase a large, family-sized box for $22 or a smaller box for $17 (contents will last about a week).

Orders taken: May 3 to May 11 & June 6 to June 15 Delivery date: May 18 & June 22

Star Wars Day Wednesday May 4 Celebrate May the 4th with us by visiting any branch during open hours to get your free Star Wars book while quantities last.

Smithville

Reading Readiness May 4, 10, 18 & 24 @ 10:30 a.m. This six-week program is open to children ages 2 to 5 years of age and their caregiver. Special visit with registered dietician, Dayna Caves, on Tuesday May 10th.

Messy at the Library Saturdays @ 2:00 p.m. May 28 & June 25 Come to the library for some good messy fun and maybe learn a thing or two! Recommended for kids age 6 to 10 years old.

Telling Tails Fridays Date and time to be announced Kids! Practise your reading skills in an encouraging, non-judgemental environment by “telling tails” to trained therapy dogs.

S.T.E.A.M. Saturdays May 14 & 28; June 11 & 25 @ 10:30 a.m. A science, technology, engineering, art, and math program recommended for children ages 8 to 12.

Free Comic Book Day Saturday May 7 Founded on the belief that there is a comic book for eve-ryone, visit any branch during open hours to get your free comic book while quantities last.

*NEW* Cosplay Club Mondays May 9 & 30 and June 6 & 27 @ 6:30 p.m. Learn how to create your own unique cosplay characters, costumes and props.

Three Perspectives: Exploring the Ukraine-Russia Conflict Tuesday May 3 @ 6:30 p.m. A panel will provide further insight, context, and background information into the ongoing conflict.

Iced Tea Cocktails and Mocktails Thursday May 12 @ 6:30 p.m. Led by tea sommelier, Katie Cyr, learn how to make delicious iced tea cocktails sure to impress your friends. Participants have the option of purchasing a speciality mocktail iced tea kit for only $10.

Pollinators May 18 @ 6:30 p.m. . Learn what types of pollinators are found in this area, their role in the ecosystem and how everyone can play a role in helping to restore their habitat.

Hidden Gems and Hikes in Niagara June 8 @ 6:30 p.m. Learn about what to look for when you are out in nature, how to connect and contribute to community science and the variety of ecosystems found in local conservation areas.

Seed Savers Club Tuesday May 10 @ 6:30 p.m. Exploring the Many Benefits of Saving Seeds Tuesday June 14 @ 6:30 p.m. Seed Saving 101 with Linda Crago from Tree and Twig. The Seed Savers Club meets the second Tuesday of every month and is open to anyone interested in sharing knowledge about growing food.
