WLPL Makerspace Helps to Make the Holidays Easy

Looking for gift ideas this holiday season? Come visit WLPL MakerSpace and use our Cricut cutting and drawing machines to make beautiful cards, custom mugs, and even shirts that will help you take your Christmas and other holiday crafts to the next level.

Good Food Box

Place your orders for fresh and affordable local produce, either in person at Smithville Branch (cash only) or online at linksforgreenerlearning.org. The deadline for orders is November 16 and December 7, with deliveries being made to Smithville Branch on November 22 and December 13.

Merry Mario Kart - Smithville Branch

It’s the season of giving and gaming! We will have popular video games available for patrons to drop in and play all afternoon. We will also be accepting non-perishable food items for the West Lincoln Community Food Bank. Come play and support the community! Drop-in.

Now Accepting Santa Letters

November 13 to December 6
It’s that time of year again! All of the WLPL Branches are accepting letters written to Santa and helping them be delivered to the North Pole in time for Christmas! For any patrons who might need help writing their letters, all three branches will be hosting in-branch sessions to help make everyone’s letters perfect. Please drop off your letters by December 6 to ensure that they’ll arrive at the North Pole in time to receive a reply before Christmas.

November is Dinovember at the Caistorville Branch! Visit us Wednesday nights to learn all about your favourite dinosaurs and make fun crafts and treats! Starting November 1 @ 6:00pm. Registration required.

Come participate in our ‘Merry MarioKart’ tournament, where we can host up to 16 players at a time and everyone can simultaneously play popular video games such as MarioKart, Minecraft, and Fortnite all afternoon.
